Notes from Chairman 2025

Well, another season over and again a good year for the club, 2 league Div 1 Titles and 2 Cup successes. Well done to all the team captains for their hard work throughout the year.

Our green this year has been exceptional with many compliments from many top officials, players and spectators. We have hosted both Federation and Bowls England County matches as well as holding cup matches from teams from other Counties.

What we have to remember is, all the hosting entails a lot of planning and preparation not only on the day but for several days before hand. What we get out of all this hosting is much needed revenue and prestige at both County level and beyond.  I must take this opportunity to thank our wonderful band of ladies who put so much work in these events.

Looking forward to next season and beyond we already have requests for the use of our green from both Federation and Bowls England.

Finally a big thank you to the members who work behind the scenes not only on the green but in the clubhouse making sure the season runs smoothly to give us a fantastic bowling experience.
